Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how IPTVFlix handles your information. IPTVFlix is an IPTV client for Apple TV that connects to an IPTV service you already subscribe to (via the Xtream Codes API) and plays the content that service provides.
In short: we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data. We operate no servers of our own, and use no analytics or tracking.
Information you provide
- IPTV provider credentials. To use the app you enter the server address, username, and password for your own IPTV provider. These credentials are stored only on your device — the password is kept in the Apple Keychain — and are sent only to your IPTV provider to sign in and stream. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
- Profiles & preferences. Profile names, favorites, "watch later" lists, and settings (such as the adult-content filter) are stored locally on your device and do not leave it.
Information we collect automatically
None. IPTVFlix contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, location, or diagnostics.
Cached content
To load quickly, the app caches your library listing and artwork on your device. This cache is removed when you delete the app or remove the associated profile.
Purchases
Optional Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
- Your IPTV provider. All channels, movies, series, artwork, and streams come from the IPTV service whose credentials you enter. We are not affiliated with, and do not control, that provider. Your use of their service is governed by their own terms and privacy policy.
- Apple. App distribution and in-app purchases are handled by Apple.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because we do not collect any.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives only on your device, you are in control of it. You can remove a profile and its stored credentials from within the app (Settings → Account → Remove This Profile), and deleting the app removes all locally stored data, including cached content and Keychain credentials.
Security
Credentials are stored in the Apple Keychain, and network requests use HTTPS where your provider supports it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we design the app to keep your credentials on your device.
Children's privacy
IPTVFlix is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because content is supplied by your IPTV provider, an optional adult-content filter is available in the app's settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
